Keep LaptopNeck in the dock.
A forgotten browser tab loses to Slack. An installed window next to the editor is the whole trick. Frames still never leave this machine.
Chrome or Edge on a Mac
Menu → Save and share → Install page as app… (or the install icon in the address bar).
Open at login: keep the app in the Dock, then System Settings → General → Login Items → add LaptopNeck. Or leave the window in your work Space and don’t quit it.
Safari
File → Add to Dock. Then open it like any other app. Safari will still ask for the camera on first use.
Windows
Edge or Chrome → install as app. Pin to the taskbar. Optionally add a shortcut to the Startup folder.
Picture-in-picture on the Monitor page keeps the green/red cue over your other windows without a full screen.
